Washington DC
Thank you Washington

Though school wasn't out for the summer in our nation's capital, that didn't stop the Junior Agents of Campfire USA from having an awesome time after school at the first Geek Squad Summer Academy in Washington DC.

Throughout the week, the Junior Agents got a chance to learn the inner workings of a computer, and turn a pile of parts into a fully-functional computer. Some got so good, that they were able to compete in speed building competitions. The Junior Agents got to show their creative skills in Digital Video class, making their own short films to show off. The internet is no longer a confusing place to the Junior Agents, thanks to Internet Communications class, where they learned the ins and out of social networking and how to stay safe on the net.

The event drew the attention of the Mayor and Police Chief of Bladensburg, Maryland, who were on hand during the graduation ceremonies to congratulate the newest Junior Agents. A big thanks goes out to all of the Jr. Agents, In5+RuC+oRs and H.E.L.P.eR.s as well as Campfire USA and Elizabeth Seton High School for making it all possible.

Thank You ~
