Minneapolis can be summed up in one word: AWESOME!!! You can’t go wrong when you have a facility as cool as the Main Street School of Performing Arts and a staff to match. They made us feel right at home so we could provide the experience that Geek Squad Summer Academy is known for. 

Speaking of perfect partnerships, the Girl Scouts made us think that Geek Squad Summer Academy was built specifically for them. The Girl Scouts focus on organization,  structure, and honor while at the same time teaching the scouts the best possible way to have fun and it showed in the excitement, engagement, and overall FUN this group of Girls provided us. We KNEW we had something special when they gave US a little taste of what call and response is all about. ANNOUNCEMENTS ANNOUNCEMENTS ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!!!

Last but most certainly not least, we have our Instructors & Helpers. A group that worked so well together and were so driven and passionate, it’s hard to believe that they came from different stores. First time for some, others seemingly veterans but I can assure you, it won’t be the last time for any of them. 

As a Surprise guest, the WNBA’s MINNESOTA LYNX came and encouraged the Girl Scouts by letting them know that they too maintained higher education while playing professional basketball and wished they could do what the Girl Scouts now know how to do. They also dropped off enough tickets to their next home game for Scouts AND Staff. We truly appreciate the Lynx for coming by.
