Geek Squad Summer Academy in El Paso, Texas was a blazing success…and it wasn’t just the 100+ degree weather! The students left Hanks High School as newly graduated Junior Agents, sharing a fun, one-of-a-kind experience.

Our Digital Music class was a favorite, where the Junior Agents made songs that rival anything on the Billboard charts. In Internet Communications class, the Junior Agents thwarted an “infection” of their class and learned about Internet safety and security. PC building and upgrades are no sweat for the Junior Agents, some event built a PC in only 8 minutes. Junior Agents directed and starred in creative, funny videos in Digital Video class, used to make their own news shows. Speaking of the news, The El Paso Times stood up and took notice of our Junior Agents, featuring them on the front page!

A great deal of thanks goes out to the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region, the Junior Agents, all the In5+RuC+oRs and H.E.L.P.eR.s , as well as the help and support of the local Best Buy stores in the Borderland! Only one thing left to do now, and that’s BE AWESOME!
